| AGS BOGGS RR was
developed by the Soybean Improvement Center at the
University of Georgia Agricultural Experiment Station in
Athens GA. It is a Maturity Group VI,
glyphosate-tolerant, Roundup ReadyĆ variety with white
flowers, tawny pubescence, and tan pod walls. Seeds are
yellow, with shiny seed coats and black hila. Boggs is resistant to southern and Javanese root-knot
nematodes, race 3, 9 and 14 of soybean cyst nematode,
reniform nematode and stem canker. It is susceptible to
Peanut Root-Knot Nema-tode and tolerant to Columbia
Lance. Boggs RR is similar to conventional Boggs in
protein and oil composition and is a patented variety. |
